Lucky's Story...
Lucky is a good boy, with a tender heart. He was dumped at a local walking trail with 2 friends, unfortunatly the little girl got hit by a car and did not survive. Lucky likes other dogs and would love to curl up with you. He has been at the local pound with his friend for almost one year, not a nice way to spend your life cold and needing a loving forever home. If you are unaware of the love and loyalty of this breed please come down and let him show you what doggie kisses are truly all about.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lucky, a Burlington American Pit Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Burlington, or seeking a American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Burlington.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Burlington already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Burlington breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with American Pit Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Burlington paves the way for another one to be saved.
