LIBBY's Story...

Hello fellow dog lovers!

My name is Libby and I came to Puppy Pals Rescue from a very nice lady who took me in when I was found wandering the streets. She made the very difficult decision to let PPR find me my forever home because I have lots of energy and love to run and she did not have a fenced yard.

I am a petite Chihuaha mix with long legs and weigh about 9lbs. I have great furry friends at my foster home that includes both large and small dogs and even a cat. I find the cat very interesting and like to chase her, but have never tried to hurt her. I love to run and would need to have a home with a secure fenced yard. I am totally potty trained , but am still working on not running out the door when it opens and waiting for my foster mom to tell me it's ok. She says I'm doing better already. I have not had much contact with little kids at my foster home but would probably do best with older children as I am full of energy and like to jump when I'm excited. I would love to have a family that is active and would take me for a walk. I sleep in my crate at night and don't make a peep. My foster mom likes that. I am not much of a barker, but do bark when appropriate. I love to ride in the car and look out the window.
Please feel free to contact my foster mom with any questions or if you would like to meet me.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

LIBBY, a Beavercreek Chihuahua dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua for sale in Beavercreek, or seeking a Chihuahua dog from a breeder in Beavercreek.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Beavercreek already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Beavercreek breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua breeders who help with Chihuahua rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Beavercreek paves the way for another one to be saved.
