Trooper's Story...
SUPER TROOPER! This is a very sweet dog. He is exurberant and full of puppy energy. Trooper loves kids like they are his own and when he sees another dog, he become the ultimate social butterfly.

Trooper was rescued from Apache Junction Animal Care & Control. The facility has only 38 kennel spaces and a very small adopter base. As in most cases with kill-shelters, there are more homeless animals than there are safe spaces. Paw Placement showed up to pick up some kittens who were facing an uncertain future. Employees at the shelter begged us to take this young, awesome dog. How could we refuse?

Trooper will make an ideal hiking buddy and family friend. If you are interested in meeting Trooper, know that he will require a bit of behavioral training to properly channel his puppy-dog energy. He is bouncy but quickly learns boundaries.

He is as sweet as he can be -- and will bring joy to whoever is lucky enough to bring him home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Trooper, a Scottsdale Australian Kelpie/German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Kelpie/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Scottsdale, or seeking a Australian Kelpie/German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Scottsdale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Scottsdale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Scottsdale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Kelpie/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Australian Kelpie/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Scottsdale paves the way for another one to be saved.
