Pip (Flagstaff)'s Story...
Perky Pip is a sweetheart. She loves people, other dogs, cats and just belonging to a family. We don't know much of her history but it only took one day to settle into her foster mom's chaotic house. She's very submissive and gets along with any dog or cat. She's housebroken and crate trained. She also doesn't get on the furniture, and is just is happy to lie on a dog bed or rug. The only thing she doesn't like is getting her photo taken! Pip would love to meet you.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Pip (Flagstaff), a Scottsdale Border Collie dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie for sale in Scottsdale, or seeking a Border Collie dog from a breeder in Scottsdale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Scottsdale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Scottsdale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie breeders who help with Border Collie rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Scottsdale paves the way for another one to be saved.
