Hailey's Story...
My name is Hailey’s Comet, and I’m a 10 pound, 3 year old cutie, living in the Tampa-bay area of Florida. I’m a bit camera shy, so this is the only picture of me. I’m a very cute little bit of a dog who loves to run and play. I live with 4 other Rat Terriers at the moment, and we all get along very well. I also like cats but I need to be told they are a part of the family. I like to take walks, hunt and cuddle. I really would like a back yard to play in, a loving family and lots of bones to chew on. Please consider me if you are looking for a small girl with lots of energy. I promise to love you forever!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Hailey, a Jacksonville Rat Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Rat Terrier for sale in Jacksonville, or seeking a Rat Terrier dog from a breeder in Jacksonville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Jacksonville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Jacksonville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Rat Terrier breeders who help with Rat Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Jacksonville paves the way for another one to be saved.
