My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Suzy aka Susie.

Susie is an incredibly sweet, beautiful dog; a pint size purebred Rottador or Labweiler; a Rottie/Lab mix weighing in at a lean 57lbs.

Susie had surgery on her rear knee over the summer of ‘05, for a luxating patella, and is fully recovered and ready to join a new family. You may have read in the previous bio that she had been diagnosed with hip dysplasia and that she could possibly need surgery. A NEW UPDATE on that: Not too long ago, an orthopedic surgeon dismissed that as she shows no clinical signs and the x-rays taken do not show that she needs surgery. Of course, there’s nothing saying that she couldn’t develop HD as Rottweilers are prone to it. Keeping her slim and trim and supplementing with glucosamine will help in preventing HD.

She is almost 2 years old and happy as can be. She is an active girl that gets along with everyone (males and females –any size/ any breed) and will submit to a more dominant dog. She is active and loves to play with tennis balls! She runs and plays just fine and has no signs of any knee or hip problems at all.

What more could you ask for? Susie would be a wonderful companion to anyone!
