2/21/11 - Hey y'all, Max here. What do you think of my new hairdo? Foster mommy tells me I am cute as a button now and look like a new pup. I feel like a new pup without all that hair. I think I like this a lot better. I am such a laid back easy going little guy. I like to lay around and snuggle into a bed most of the day. I am trying to learn to like human affection, but it still scares me sometimes. I want to enjoy it and I am sure I will some day. I am still working on my house training, but I will go by the back door when I have to go most of he time. I am still waiting for my forever family to come along. Could you be my new forever family?
2/9/11 – Max is doing well. Since being neutered his marking in the house has cut way back, and will hopefully continue to cut back as the hormones leave his body. He is a gentle little sole that likes to do a little exploring, as long as he doesn’t know you are watching, otherwise spends most of his day taking naps and enjoying the comfort of the many dog beds he has available to him. He unfortunately isn’t a snuggly cuddly little yorkie, but tries his hardest to enjoy some nice massages.
11/8/10 – Max is still doing good. He loves to curl up on the couch in a nice snuggly blanket and snore away to his hearts content! He has gotten better about eating, but can be finicky at times. He usually gets a mixture of hard and canned food. He is all boy and likes to go around marking his territory, but luckily he doesn’t have any problems wearing a belly band. He doesn’t play with toys or the other pups and isn’t a really snuggly little guy, but doesn’t mind a good massage and being wrapped up in a nice warm blanket!
10/19/10 – Max came to YHR after his previous owner became ill and could no longer care for him and the other pups in her care. Max is a happy little boy that quickly learned that snuggling next to you on the couch for a nice long nap is a wonderful thing. His hearing and vision are not the greatest and he is a member of the ‘toothless wonders’ club, but none of that inhibits him at all. He isn’t a boy that plays with toys or other pups, but instead prefers just exploring his surroundings and curling up for a nice nap in the afternoon.
