Darcy von Hariton's Story...
Darcy von Hariton is a beautiful 12 month old old German Shepherd who embodies the merits of his literary namesake. He is loyal, sweet and charming to say the least. The day he came in to a busy adoption event, he was such a gentleman to every person he met. Darcy will need to acquire some leash etiquette with other dogs since he seems to want to defend the honor of whomever holds his leash. He does well with the other shepherds off leash in the play group. He is so quick to trust someone that after spending a short time with him, he leans against you with all of his weight and melts into your lap with the slightest massage of his cheeks. But he will surely win the hearts of anyone who graces his presence.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Darcy von Hariton, a Los Angeles German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Los Angeles, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Los Angeles.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Los Angeles already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Los Angeles breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Los Angeles paves the way for another one to be saved.
