Bailey's Story...
Bailey is an incredible girl who is quickly becoming a RESCUE volunteer favorite!! She is the perfect dog for a runner or hiker. When running, she is poetry in motion, and such a beautiful sight! Once her physical needs are met, she morphs into a world class snuggler, and loves nothing more than to lay by your side and soak up as many belly rubs as possible!

Bailey does lack a little confidence in new situations, so she will need a little time and patience from her new family. Right now, she is not sure about getting into cars, but once lifted in, she rides beautifully. (I guess I would be a little unsure of cars as well if my last ride in one was as I was being taken to the pound!)

With the mix of breeds she is, one would expect a much larger dog, but Bailey is a very manageable size and just the perfect dog for someone looking for an active, fun loving girl who is also happy to cuddle up and share the couch with you in the evenings. She is very special!! To learn more about please visit - www.azrescue.org.

Bailey weighed 44.5 pounds when we saved her from the kill list.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bailey, a Phoenix Boxer dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Boxer for sale in Phoenix, or seeking a Boxer dog from a breeder in Phoenix.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Phoenix already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Phoenix breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Boxer breeders who help with Boxer rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Phoenix paves the way for another one to be saved.
