Tiki's Story...
Tiki, born 7/8/10 has a great personality and is larger than her sister, Tillie.Tiki loves to stand below you and get pets or even jump on the couch and get pets with some warmth and snuggle up next to people. Tiki is pretty laid back. Maybe Tiki has that gentle giant thing going. Tiki is responding to a few commands like no,her name,go outside, she goes right into her cage when we tap on the top of it. Tiki is getting great with her potty training also. No accidents yesterday! Although she loves to chew her toys, these seem to keep her interested. She loves to play/wrestle with Tillie most of the day if we let them,we try to limit this. Tiki is vocal when playing but that is the only time Tiki does this.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tiki, a Grand Haven Weimaraner puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Weimaraner for sale in Grand Haven, or seeking a Weimaraner puppy from a breeder in Grand Haven.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Grand Haven already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Grand Haven breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Weimaraner breeders who help with Weimaraner rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Grand Haven paves the way for another one to be saved.
