Tuggles& Puggles's Story...
Meet Tuggles and Puggles. We believe that these boys are golden retriever/ cocker spaniel mixes...sometimes known as comfort retrievers.
These brothers were surrendered to the shelter due to a divorce and scheduled to be euthanized on the day that we rescued them. These two are two years old, house trained, and fully vetted. Puggles is the shorter of the two and may have a touch of bassett in him, Tuggles is taller with the lighter colored coat that looks more like a golden retriever. More info will be available as we learn more about them. They are available at a discounted rate if adopted together. Please email the rescue if you are interested in applying to adopt one or both of these sweet boys.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tuggles& Puggles, a FOSTER Golden Retriever/Spaniel (Unknown Type) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Golden Retriever/Spaniel (Unknown Type) for sale in FOSTER, or seeking a Golden Retriever/Spaniel (Unknown Type) dog from a breeder in FOSTER.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in FOSTER already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a FOSTER breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Golden Retriever/Spaniel (Unknown Type) breeders who help with Golden Retriever/Spaniel (Unknown Type) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in FOSTER paves the way for another one to be saved.
