I'm Precious! I've had a tough life but that has just made me sweeter. I'm told the rescue is looking for a home for me where I can get lots of pampering. You see, I was hit by a car and rescued by a kind police officer who took me to the vet. They located my owner from my microchip but she said she no longer wanted me. I do not know what I did to make her feel that way. The vet called the rescue who said they would love to welcome me into the program. Everything they've learned about me just show that I'm a great addition to any loving home. After all, I'm a senior black Lab mix girl. I'm easy going and smart. I am good with other dogs and cats but I prefer that they don't jump on my legs since I'm still recovering from the injuries I got when that car hit me. I love everyone, including people of all ages. I'm also very loyal to anyone who treats me with the slightest bit of kindness. I know my basic obedience commands and I'm so good on a leash. I'm a low key kind of gal. I like nice walks, car rides, and being adored! All in all, I'm a great addition to anyone who wants everything good that comes with having a dog without any of the difficulties!

We require an application, phone interview and home visit prior to adoption. We will not discuss a specific dog with an applicant until the adoption process is completed.
