Monday - Barn Cat's Info...
| Breed: | Domestic Shorthair | Color: | Black (All) | Age: | Young |
| Sex: | Female | ID#: | 5308 LW | Hair: | Short |
Monday female black cat, one year old
and
Nigel male brown tabby with white, one year old
Monday and Nigel were part have a feral colony living in the woods in Pennsburg. A kind woman was feeding the cats but did not have the resources for getting them fixed and vaccinated. And she was moving and the cats were soon to be abandoned. A Stray Cat Blues volunteer helped the woman trap all eight cats and all the rest have been placed.
These cats are bonded and would be a great addition to a barn in need of organic rodent control. They are altered, spayed, have three year rabies vaccinations, current distemper, Feline Leukemia vaccine, and are microchipped.
These are just two of the many Barn Cats that we currently have available needing homes. If you have a home that needs or could accommodate a couple of Barn Cats (outdoor cats), please contact us. We have Barn Cats of all ages, many different colorings. Some friendlier, others more shy all in need of a place to call their own. Most of our Barn Cats come from situations where they were living in dangerous conditions. You can make a big difference by adopting Barn Cats!

Rescue Group Info...
Officially, Stray Cat Blues, Inc. is a no-kill, non-profit 501(c)(3) organization providing rescue and placement to stray, abandoned, and feral cats. Personally, SCB is a small group of dedicated volunteers who work tirelessly to find loving, life-long homes for cats. We are professional in our practices, but we are emotional on the subject of homeless cats, and the ways in which we humans can work to prevent this epidemic of strays.
Stray Cat Blues actively works to find permanent homes for the stray cats in our program. Our kittens and cats are exposed to the pet-loving public at our different adoption locations (see Come Meet our Pets section below) to facilitate adoptions and to provide visibility for our organization. Our cats can also be seen online at www.adoptapet.com.
Most of our cats offered for adoption are strays and their offspring that are rescued off the streets.
For those stray cats that are more wary of humans, especially feral cats, we can help humanely trap, sterilize and either return them if the area they live in is safe and they are being fed, or we house them and adopt them out as barn cats.
Thanks from the cats
and all of us at Stray Cat Blues!
