Tulip's Info...

I am already spayed, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Tulip's Story...
I am a stunning piece of canine, dont you think so? I have a gorgeous golden colored wiry coat and I am the perfect size at 39 pounds. I do not have alot of energy so a calmer home will do better for me than a place with lots of excitemet. I have a little limp from an old injury but theres nothing that can be done about it now and it sure doesnt bother me a bit. I have had training, I know how to sit and stay and walk nicely on a leash. I am hoping to get a laid back home but I wouldnt mind some kids, maybe over the age of 6 years to hang with and give me love. I do not mind sharing my home with other pets either. So come on in, we can go for a walk or just hang out in the visiting room and just get to know each other. I am a real catch and would love to go home and spend the rest of my life with you! 18 months old-39lbs. My adoption fee is $200 and includes; current shots, microchip, spay , 5 week Training Class, free veterinary exam ,1 month pet health insurance, leash/collar, food sample, toy & Treat packet.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tulip, a Portland Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen for sale in Portland, or seeking a Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen dog from a breeder in Portland.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Portland already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Portland breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen breeders who help with Petit Basset Griffon Vendeen rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Portland paves the way for another one to be saved.
