Logan's Story...
Logan is a very loving, friendly, outgoing and responsive, two-year-old, 50-pound, male, Cattle Dog/American Staffordshire Terrier-mix looking for a wonderful new home. Logan was found wandering in Springfield, Illinois, as a stray. He is already housebroken, crate-trained, and knows the commands sit, down, come, and takes treats very nicely from your fingers. He would love to live with a family with children over the age of eight who have the time to exercise and train a wonderful and fun dog. He does best with female dogs. Logan is very healthy, de-wormed, neutered, micro-chipped, up-to-date on vaccines and heartworm-tested. To meet and possibly adopt him, please contact Ray at colonelchisholm@sbcglobal.net or 847-639-6801. He is currently living in Union, Illinois. His adoption fee of $200 benefits rescued dogs.

Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Australian Cattle Dog/American Pit Bull Terrier for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Australian Cattle Dog/American Pit Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Australian Cattle Dog/American Pit Bull Terrier breeders who help with Australian Cattle Dog/American Pit Bull Terrier rescue.
