Maggie's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Maggie's Story...
Hi! My name is Magnolia Rosebud, or Maggie Rose for short. I am a pomerian-dachshund mix with big brown eyes and a heart full of love. I am about 2 years old and I have been spayed (whew--no more babies for me!), vaccinated, microchipped, and dewormed. I love to run and play, and romping with other dogs is one of my favorite pastimes. However, my most favorite thing to do is snuggle with my owner. I am the kind of dog that will always be by your side--we could go on road trips together, watch a movie marathon, go camping, or if you're ever sick I promise to stay in bed with you all day.

My hair is short and slick, so I am what you would call "wash-and-wear". I am a very healthy 12 pounds of pure canine cuddliness. Being around children is fine for me, especially if they give me a treat every once in a while! Would you consider me as a new addition to your family? I promise to provide you with years of laughter, fun, and unconditional love.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Maggie, a Houston Pomeranian/Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Pomeranian/Dachshund for sale in Houston, or seeking a Pomeranian/Dachshund dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Pomeranian/Dachshund breeders who help with Pomeranian/Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
