Bandit's Story...
Introducing darling Bandit! He has a very sweet personality, temperament, and wants to please you. He wants to be loved and have attention like most pups. His behavior reflects that of a typical puppy, playful and full of energy. His estimated birthdate is March 20, 2010.

He does not seem to have a stubborn temperament that can sometime make it hard for training. Bandit is a very smart dog and quick learner which should make him a star at any training class. He also walks/runs great on a leash and is starting to heel nicely. He is not afraid of the crate at all, and walks in it when the door is open. He will bark, but not very often. He loves, loves the water, and behaves like a lab around the water. He gets along great with other dogs, and just wants to play.

Are you ready to give Bandit his forever home?

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Bandit, a Houston Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Houston, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
