Roscoe is such a friendly fellow. He charmed us from the moment we saw those gorgeous eyes in that big ol’ head peering at us from the inside of a cage at the local pound. His tail was just wagging and although he’d been there a while, he had not given up. His personality was shining through in spite of the circumstances. We are so lucky to have this wonderful dog in our care now and are proud to be the ones to help this very deserving fellow find a family of his own. Roscoe just loves to be with you and is very agreeable to anything you want to do. He especially likes sitting beside you or curling up at your feet after a nice walk. He does terrific on leash and meets new dogs and people with a calm and friendly attitude. Roscoe is one of those “designer dogs” known as a “bassador” – he has the friendly nature of a lab and the short legs and sweet calm demeanor of a bassett hound. He loves belly rubs and rolling in the grass! Roscoe is two years old and weighs 47 lbs. He has a short easy-to manage coat. He has been neutered and is up to date on his shots. He is heartworm negative and on monthly preventative for heartworms, fleas and ticks. He is microchipped with registration included. Roscoe is crate trained and housebroken.
