Jock's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Jock's Story...
He's actually a softie - but with that buff build we had to name him Jock! Born around August last year, he's probably full-grown at 50 lbs of sleek muscle.

This striking sweetheart was abandoned in the cold rain on a country road. We brought him home, dried him off, and fell in love with his gentle, affectionate personality. He immediately made himself at home with the rest of our large pack of dogs, and pretty much ignores the livestock (although we suspect he'd love to get up close and personal with the chickens). He is intensely interested in cats, but should do well with a dog-savvy cat that doesn't run from him.

Jock loves to race around the pastures and play tug with our dogs, and he's also happy to snooze the day away. His in-house manners are great, and he's quick to learn new things.

Like all Mikey's Chance dogs, Jock will come to you sterilized, up-to-date on shots, microchipped and treated for internal and external parasites. An adoption fee of $185 will help offset the cost of his care.

Do you have room in your family for an energetic but mellow buddy? Contact us at mikeyschance@gmail.com for more information about Jock, and an adoption application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jock, a Seattle Staffordshire Bull Terrier dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Staffordshire Bull Terrier for sale in Seattle, or seeking a Staffordshire Bull Terrier dog from a breeder in Seattle.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Seattle already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Seattle breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Staffordshire Bull Terrier breeders who help with Staffordshire Bull Terrier rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Seattle paves the way for another one to be saved.
