Paco's Info...

I am already neutered, housetrained, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Paco's Story...
Paco is a sweet, 11 yr old, male Bichon Frise weighing in at 20 pounds (though he has been overfed and is a bit overweight). He is quite the charmer, loves everyone he comes into contact with and is friendly to other cats and dogs. His owner has gone into a nursing home and can no longer care for him. His demeanor is mellow and easy-going, his tail never quite stops wagging. Though Paco is a "mature" dog, he is very energetic for his age, has no current medical issues, has just had a dental cleaning so his teeth are nice and clean. He's basically just a "happy ol' man", always excited to see everybody, well behaved and housebroken, and looking for a new lap to keep warm. He will make a lovely companion for anyone looking for a low maintenance, non-shedding doggie friend.

Paco's adoption fee of $100 includes: complete vet exam, flea preventative, heartworm test, distemper combo vaccination, rabies vaccination, dental cleaning, deworming and neuter.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Paco, a Mt. Prospect Bichon Frise dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Bichon Frise for sale in Mt. Prospect, or seeking a Bichon Frise dog from a breeder in Mt. Prospect.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mt. Prospect already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mt. Prospect breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Bichon Frise breeders who help with Bichon Frise rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mt. Prospect paves the way for another one to be saved.
