Duncan's Story...
One look at me and you know that I need to find a forever home that will get me back up to weight. Hard to believe I have actually put on some weight. When I came into the pound you could count all my bones. I would love to find a home to call my own and one that will take care of me like I deserve. I'm a really lovey guy that loves to be petted. I can also dig a mean hole if you let me. If you’re interested in giving me a forever home please contact Ashley at ace_04@live.com or Linda at s.hoefing@mchsi.com. You can also call and leave a message on Linda's phone 712-246-3236 and she will return your call after work. They are willing to travel to find me the best forever home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Duncan, a Shenandoah Vizsla dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Vizsla for sale in Shenandoah, or seeking a Vizsla dog from a breeder in Shenandoah.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Shenandoah already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Shenandoah breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Vizsla breeders who help with Vizsla rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Shenandoah paves the way for another one to be saved.
