Mr French's Story...
This is Mr French. He is a 3 year old neutered male smooth red dapple dachshund. He is one of 6 adult dachshunds that were surrendered by their owner (see additional information on Blanket, Dot, Lucy, Minnie and Eloise). Mr French is a little timid around new people, but when he warms up, he is a loves to cuddle. Mr French barks a lot at anything that moves, but that may calm down once he is use to his surroundings. He has beautiful dapple markings and has a blue eye. He is currently on a healthy diet as he needs to lose a couple of pounds. He is a very handsome boy, and would make anybody a wonderful forever companion. If you would like more information on Mr French or any of the other dachshunds we have in our rescue, please contact us at k9scome1st@aol.com.
Mr French's adoption fee is $250.00

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Mr French, a Ft. Myers Dachshund dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Dachshund for sale in Ft. Myers, or seeking a Dachshund dog from a breeder in Ft. Myers.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Ft. Myers already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Ft. Myers breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Dachshund breeders who help with Dachshund rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Ft. Myers paves the way for another one to be saved.
