Patches's Story...
Note: Patches is not in the Closer to Home Animal Advocates rescue program. We are listing him as a courtesy to his owner. We will post better pictures and a video of Patches soon.

Patches was born on 4/19 so he is 6 months old. He is neutered and up to date on his shots, potty trained and crate trained. He is good with kids and all around a good boy. This is a case of the economy causing another poor dog to lose his home. Patches owner has lost his job and will be losing his home soon. It would be one less stressful thing to deal with if Patches could find a new, forever home very soon.

If you are interested in adopting this dog, please fill out and submit our online application. Vet and personal references will be checked and a home visit is required.

A fenced yard is required to adopt any of our dogs. We do not adopt dogs to homes with invisible fences.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Patches, a Belleville Husky/German Shepherd Dog puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Husky/German Shepherd Dog for sale in Belleville, or seeking a Husky/German Shepherd Dog puppy from a breeder in Belleville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Belleville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Belleville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Husky/German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with Husky/German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Belleville paves the way for another one to be saved.
