This sweet young mother was delivered hugely pregnant to a local shelter, and was going to have to give birth in a cage. Luckily Rawhide was contacted and we were able to find this lovely young lady a safe foster home to finish out her pregnancy and give birth in. She has been a wonderful mother, the proud parent of seven healthy young boys and girls, and now it is her time to be the center of attention. She is just a baby herself, only one year old. She loves other dogs and cats, and is almost fully housebroken. She is sweet and affectionate, loving ear scratches and belly rubs, and is very excited to have a forever home for her puppies, and herself.

To adopt Goldie, or any of our animals, please visit our website at www.rawhidrescue.org and download our Microsoft Word dog application or use our on-line application. Due to the volume of inquiries we receive, we can only respond to you if you have submitted a completed application.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Goldie, a Warren Labrador Retriever dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Labrador Retriever for sale in Warren, or seeking a Labrador Retriever dog from a breeder in Warren.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Warren already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Warren breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Warren paves the way for another one to be saved.
