Moose's Story...
Adoption Pending
Moose is an 8 month old merle male with natural ears. He is a handsome boy who is quite playful and full of life! He's ready to have fun but also willing to take direction. He's been surprisingly well mannered in his new home for the short time he's been there but they're quite pleased with his willingness to redirect unwanted behaviors to those more suited for a puppy. He does well with kids, cats and other dogs, and is generally a laid back pup who seems to roll with changes fairly well. Moose will not be available until he is neutered at the end of the month.

Mid-Atlantic Great Dane Rescue League adopts to eastern NY, eastern PA, NJ, DE, MD/DC, WV, VA, NC and eastern SC only. Why Adoption is a Great Option

Moose, a York Great Dane puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Dane for sale in York, or seeking a Great Dane puppy from a breeder in York.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in York already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a York breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Dane breeders who help with Great Dane rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in York paves the way for another one to be saved.
