Lacey's Story...
The photo is pending on this lovely chocolate point kitty. She was given back to rescue because a child in the family was allergic. It had nothing to do with anything this wonderful kitty did, in fact, she's very sweet! Lacey does not wish to interact with other cats but she is fine with them being around if they just leave her alone. She is about 5-6 years old, spayed, tested and up to date on shots. Her adoption fee is $75. cash. If you are interested in this pet, please go to our website at http://www.petfinder.com/shelters/TX1208.html and fill out the application located at the bottom of the page and email it to txecr1@yahoo.com Out-of-state adoption fees may vary. We do not ship animals. Adopters must come to get their animal and accompany it back home.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Lacey, a Dallas Ragdoll cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Ragdoll for sale in Dallas, or seeking a Ragdoll cat from a breeder in Dallas.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Dallas already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Dallas breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Ragdoll breeders who help with Ragdoll rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Dallas paves the way for another one to be saved.
