Great Pyrenees Mix Dog for adoption in Kyle, Texas - Justine

I found a new home!
Plenty of my friends are looking
for one too. Find a pet to adopt.

Justine's Info...

I am already spayed, housetrained, a special needs pet, up to date with shots, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Justine's Story...
Justine (Justy) is a mellow, slow moving girl, who likes to rest her head in
your lap and enjoys being brushed immensely! Her foster Mom thinks a home
where she is Queen would be just terrific for her - she has had a hard life,
She does have what we would call a "cauliflower ear" - that is to say her
ear flap was injured, and healed with a bulky scar. She also has the unusual
condition of a little lack of normal pigmentation around her eyes. She has
been checked out by a vet and she is fine, but it is possible she has some
hearing and sight loss. . She is pretty submissive but won't back off from a
tiff, although she is content to have her place in the pack. She has
apparently been abused at some point because even while she is wagging her
whole body and grinning from ear to ear, she will lay down or shy away until
she gets to know you! She is, however, warming up to her new foster home at
a good pace. She is a very special dog and her foster Mom wants to see her
in a home where she can stay loved, protected and cared for the rest of her
life - this dog really deserves it! She a peach! She is about 5 years old
and around 88 pounds, up to date on everything, just waiting on you to love
on her! Her foster Mom would like to see her go to a quiet home with no or
older kids...and while she does ok outdoors, wouldn't you want to be an
inside girl in your middle years???

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Justine, a Kyle Great Pyrenees dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Great Pyrenees for sale in Kyle, or seeking a Great Pyrenees dog from a breeder in Kyle.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Kyle already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Kyle breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Great Pyrenees breeders who help with Great Pyrenees rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Kyle paves the way for another one to be saved.
