My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Barney – male, neutered, vet checked, vaccinated to date inclu Rabies, dewormed, heartworm tested (-), tx flea preventative, ~10lbs, Shih Tzu/Poodle.

Rescue from high volume, high kill shelter where he was slated to be euthanized due to over crowding.

When Barney showed up he was so dirty and matted he needed to be shaved right down. This boy is now groomed, clean and ready to give life a fresh start. Barney is non-shedding so he is ideal for allergy sufferers. His new family will need to have him groomed every 6-8 weeks to keep his coat free of painful mats and tangles, we would hate to have him return to the same dirty, tangled and sore mess he arrived in.

Barney is good with other dogs, cats and respectful children however due to his small size 4 Legged Love would like to find him a home with kids 8yrs+. Barney is clean and quiet in the home. He is crate trained and house trained. Barney is fine left alone for the typical 9-5 work hours and he can be crated or left with free roam of his home. He enjoys a daily walk and lots of cuddles. Barney is going to need a sweater for the cooler weather. He is suitable for apartment living or in a house with a fenced yard.
