ADOPTION PENDING!!!


Calypso – female, spayed, vet checked, vaccinated to date inclu Rabies, dewormed, heartworm tested (-), tx flea preventative, ~10months, ~40lbs, Boxer.

Rescue from high volume, high kill shelter where she was slated to be euthanized due to over crowding. Calypso was left behind when her owners decided a puppy was too much.

Calypso is a typical Boxer puppy, she is playful, curious and likes to use her feet to play. She is good with other dogs but may be a little active for an old dog, she has not been around cats but could likely learn to live with dog savvy felines. Calypso is good with children but her puppy energy may knock little ones over. She is house trained and crate trained, she should be crated at night and when left alone until she is a little more mature and less likely to get in to trouble when bored. She seems to have started some basic commands but could use more work. Obedience classes would be a great idea for Calypso and her new family. She would be great as a second dog or on her own. She will need an active family willing to commit to a little training. This girl loves walks, play time and visits to the doggy parks for socialization. Calypso needs a house with a fenced yard.
