Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Minny is a wonderful example of a second chance story. She was saved from being put down and placed with us at the last minute. She is a younger basset, only about a year old. She has an easygoing and playful personality. She is leash trained and loves to go on walks. She's great with males, females, children, other dogs and teenagers. Basically, she's wonderful with anyone with a heartbeat that's nice to her. She is however, unfamiliar with cats.
This little girl seems to have had a hard beginning to her young life, signs of abuse and neglect so, she really needs a home that will give her lots and lots of Tender Loving Care. She also likes baths and we think that she would like swimming as well. Let's give this sweet dog a good home-at last!!!
Minny is not food aggressive or toy aggressive in the least. In fact, she expects and actively enjoys sharing her toys and her food. She is exceptionally housetrained, but she is not used to a doggie door. She ADORES car rides, and likes to stick her head out the window and let her ears fly!! Minny likes soft toys and rope toys. She loves to play tug of war and she likes a warm, soft place to sleep at night - most likely with you.
