Buddy's Story...
Please contact Cathy (cathrynmcd@aol.com) for more information about this pet.

Wanted: Mommy and DaddyMy name is Buddy. I'm six years old and I am an orphan now. My owner passed away recently, and I'm so lost without my home and my mama. I'm trying very hard to be a good boy in my foster home, but I'm so confused. I need a forever home with no kids, (where I can be the only child), and a gentle hand and a soft quiet place to hang out. I love to play fetch with my toys, have my head and pink nose rubbed with the palm of your hand and have you tell me all your secrets. In return I will purr, twirl, keep you company and keep myself clean and handsome all the time. I also promise to be a good boy and I'll try not to be so afraid when it's raining and thundering outside if you'll help me feel safe and protected. I'm very lonesome and need to go home....can I go with you?

Our Adoption Process...

Adoption Process

Every kitten is tested for Feline Leukemia and adult cats are tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV. All cats are de-wormed, de-fleaed and have received a Distemper vaccine. With every adoption, we work with you to ensure every phase of introducing your kitten or cat into your home is smooth and pleasant.

Step One
After you have found the perfect fit, you will be asked to fill out a questionnaire. Your responses are reviewed and if the fit is good for both you and the kitty or cat, you move on to the next step which is the Adoption Agreement.

Step Two
The Adoption Agreement is the binding contract between you and Kindred Kitties for the adoption of your new family member. A tax deductible donation to Kindred Kitties is requested. You will be given a Certificate for a free health check and if the cat/kitten is not yet spayed, you will receive a Spay/Neuter Certificate offering discounts at a number of local veterinarians.

One Cat (over 1 year old) = $60.00 or two for $100.00

One Kittens (under a year) = $80.00 or two for $120.00

If spay/neuter date is within two weeks of adoption date, it will be included with adoption fee.

Step Three
Make sure you have everything you need for your new family member before you bring your kitten or cat home. A volunteer will be able to assist you. Here is a list of things you will need:

Litter pan, litter and scooper
Food (dry and/or wet) appropriate for the age of your kitty
Food and water bowls
Toys (for socializing)
Bed or blanket
A quiet secure room for them to become acclimated with their new home
Lots of love and affection
