Facts about Konerko

  • Color: Black - With White
  • Age: Young
  • Size: Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
  • Sex: Male
Adopt an adult/mature pet...they are truly wonderful! Adult/mature pets come with many benefits...they are already trained, with no personality surprises down the line and they are just waiting for someone to love them!
The adoption fee for Konerko is $220.00, which covers his neuter, shots, microchip, and any other medical while in our care.
*Happy, playful, lovable guy longs for a forever home to share life with!*
Konerko is a happy little guy despite the fact that he had such a rough start in life. He was never treated as a much loved member of a family.
Konerko is about 5 & 1/2 years old. He is small for his age. Poor nutrition and malnourishment didn't allow him to grow to his potential thus far, but he is making up for lost time.
He is sweet, playful and loves to be hugged & talked to. He loves treats and adores other dogs, but will be adopted only to a home with a female dog or no other dogs.
Konerko has legs that are slightly deformed and make him look bow-legged. This could be something his was born with or because of the inadequate care he was getting.
Poor Konerko has been in foster care for some time now and knows how to be a gentleman! He is crate trained, housebroken and a really great dog. He is totally ready for life in a new forever home!
Konerko has been waiting for a forever family to call his own. He wants to be someone's dog! He has a lot of love to give and he just wants to cuddle and play. Konerko is searching to find a person or a family to call his own....once that special someone finds him we are quite sure Konerko will think they are the best and most important person in the world....could you be what he is looking for?

***Obedience training is mandatory for all dogs adopted from our rescue. The choice of trainer is up to the adopter, unless otherwise noted in the bio. We do require an obedience deposit check in the amount of $200.00 at the time of adoption.

This is a refundable deposit. The check is stapled to the adoption contract and held in a file until we receive proof of completion for your training program.

The check will not be cashed if you complete training and provide us with proof, at which time the check is mailed back to you. The check will only be cashed if you do not complete training!***
