Despite his fierce sounding name, 'El Tigre' has a softer, sweeter side. He's a handsome fellow who loves other cats and is diligently practicing his social networking skills with humans. El Tigre is part of Gracie's family--a group of outside strays cared for by devoted FFGW volunteers. When animal control threatened the kitties' lives, the caretakers brought the cats inside to foster until permanent homes could be found. Right El Tigre's foster mom reports that he responds well to quiet, gentle, patient handling. El Tigre was a real Mr. Mom to his niece Zena (adopted) and nephews Hercules (now in another foster home) and Timmy. He even let them suck on his fur when they were tiny! Even now, as adults, El Tigre and Timmy are especially close and would love to find a home together where they can work on honing their people skills. These special, special boys are feline works in progress and desperately need a patient, understanding person to help them learn to love and trust. They would be great additions to a family with other cats.
