Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Ravena is available SOON!! She was spayed yesterday and needs a couple of days to recover.
Ravena (means raven) is a 6 month old sweet, submissive Golden Retriever/black Lab mix. She was a stray at the shelter.
She's inexperienced, but very, very willing to please. She gets along wonderfully with the foster reps male and two senior female Labs, excellent with their cat and with the other male foster dog. She likes the water and to hang out with another dog. She's a doll-baby!
Ravena has had two vet exams, one at the shelter and one by the foster reps vet where it was determined she is a healthy 6 month old. She has been spayed, de-wormed, had all of her vaccines, has been microchipped and has had one monthly treatment of Frontline. Ravena has been groomed where she had her nails trimmed. The groomer said she was a very nice, easy dog to groom. She weighed in at 49 pounds.
Ravena is the cutest dog. She looks like a Lab crossed with a teddy bear! Either she has had some training or is incredibly brillant because she sits, downes, comes and stayes and walks very well on the leash. She loves to play and can become mouthy, but stops on correction.
Because of her young age, there is a refundable $75 training deposit which SCLRR will gladly refund upon proof of completion of a group training class. It would be fun with her too!
Ravena loves to be with another friendly dog, would do well with a dog friendly cat, children over 7 years old and to be in an environment where she is involved with daily activities.
