Scout IS ADOPTED's Story...
October 29th...Meet Scout, an 8-9 week old, happy, playful energetic puppy, weighing about 6 1/2 pounds. This beautiful sweet pup is now looking for forever his home, might that be you?

The foster mom says he is sweet, playful, energetic, and not quite as brave as his sister Carmal. The foster mom also said that he is doing better at sleeping at night, but I she still gets up once during the night to let him out. They still are puppies with little bladders. The foster mom is crating Scout and he dosn't mind being in the crate at all, in fact, he walks in on is own when they are tired. This is their home and their safe place to be.

Scout is being fostered in a Naperville home around children and with his littermate Carmal. Scout was rescued from a high kill shelter, and is now looking for his forever home. Pictures are deceiving, and this little boy is much smaller then he looks at just over 6 pounds. We don't know how he fairs with cats, but because of his age, he should adapt well to them.

The adoption fee is $250.00 and includes spaying/neutering when old enough, microchip, 1st and 2nd puppy vaccination, dewormed with Panacure and Droncit, treated with revolution for the prevention of fleas, mites and heartworm, a free 30 minute evaluation with a certified pet trainer and Petco, and a free office visit to Crest Hill Cat and Dog Clinic on Weber and Caton Farm Road or Wheaton Animal Hospital on Roosevelt Road.

We do not have a facility. All of our animals are cared for by loving families called foster homes. So if you would like to meet this puppy, you will need to complete an adoption application prior to receiving an appointment. You can email sspratl@gmail.com and we would be happy to email you one, or you can save time and go directly to angelsonwheelsanimalrescue.com to download the adoption application.

Thank you for looking at our rescued animals. Please note that Breed and weight at maturity are only guesses.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Scout IS ADOPTED, a Naperville Border Collie/Labrador Retriever puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Border Collie/Labrador Retriever for sale in Naperville, or seeking a Border Collie/Labrador Retriever puppy from a breeder in Naperville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Naperville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Naperville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Border Collie/Labrador Retriever breeders who help with Border Collie/Labrador Retriever rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Naperville paves the way for another one to be saved.
