Toffee's Story...
My brother, Lollipop and I were found under a trailer when we were just teeny babies. Our mother was hit by a car and when she didn't return to feed us, we began to mew so loud. Finally someone with soft hands and a kind voice picked us up and cared for us. We do not want to live a life like our mother - abandoned outside with no vet care. We want homes where we will be cherished family members. Lollipop and I do not have to go to a home together (although it would be nice) - but we insist upon going to homes where humans are kind and will love us for the entirety of our life span. Us kits can live up to twenty years old. I promise to make a lifetime commitment of love to you, if you do the same for me. What a wonderful way to start a relationship!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Toffee, a Scottsdale Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Scottsdale, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Scottsdale.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Scottsdale already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Scottsdale breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Scottsdale paves the way for another one to be saved.
