My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Roscoe is a 3 year old white and liver neutered male. He weighs about 21 pounds. Roscoe loves children of all ages (3-18) and has had no problems adjusting to other dogs in the home. We are not sure about how he interacts with cats. Roscoe is crate trained and will go in his crate from time to time on his own. He was originally an owner surrender, was fostered, adopted, and returned due to "lack of time" by his adoptive family. Roscoe has been doing great in his new foster home! He waits quietly in his crate for dinner, the door open, even though several other dogs get fed before him. Roscoe will sleep in his crate at night, or be equally happy to sleep in his family's bed. In his former foster home he liked to check out the edges of the counter tops for crumbs, and he's been known to nibble/mouth your hand to be petted or to encourage you to keep petting him. Roscoe likes to play fetch and has some special toys of his own that he likes to carry around and sleep with. He's active and likes to go on walks, and he walks very nicely on a leash. Roscoe will also snuggle up next to you while watching TV. He has settled nicely into a routine at his foster home, with no destructive tendencies or messing while he's "home alone", even if his foster family leaves him loose. Roscoe will very eagerly greet you when you come home, and will sometimes he sit in your lap - but if you don't want him to, he's fine laying at your feet. He will warn you if someone's at the door, but otherwise does not bark much. Roscoe is very food motivated, so getting him to re-learn basic commands was easy. He's a very attentive, loving, happy boy who just wants that special person or family to keep for his own.
