Sarah's Story...
Please help us help Sarah!!! She was also brought in by the Port Authority Police (like Teddy who's also on our site) and we have to make room for her or else they want to send this sweet, innocent, loving young dog to the city kill shelter! She's young - she has very white teeth and kinda chubby =) No one claimed her although she looks and acts like a house pet. Just look at her pictures - she is ADORABLE!!! Just like a big teddy bear. She is mushy, housetrained, well behaved, and she seems to like other dogs. Sarah is just GREAT. She loves everyone, walks VERY well on a leash and is a great size. She's short and should probably be about 40 lbs. but she is little overweight. We think she's some sort of a Shep mix because she's not too big. You have to see her in person to appreciate her adorableness :o) Please email bobbicares2@aol.com for more info. You can also full out our application from www.bobbicares.petfinder.org and email it as well. Thank you so much!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Sarah, a Freeport English Shepherd/Rottweiler dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a English Shepherd/Rottweiler for sale in Freeport, or seeking a English Shepherd/Rottweiler dog from a breeder in Freeport.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Freeport already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Freeport breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even English Shepherd/Rottweiler breeders who help with English Shepherd/Rottweiler rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Freeport paves the way for another one to be saved.
