CARMEN's Story...
Carmen is an absolutely gorgeous light gray 10 week Himalayan mix. Carmen was rescued from an industrial park dump when only a few weeks old. She is very healthy, happy and well socialized. She is posted along with her brother, Carlos. Carmen has long soft grayish blue fur highlighted with cream. Her whiskers are also long and a little wavy. She is very friendly and purrs as soon as she sees you. She is sweet, cuddly and calm and loves to be petted and stroked. Carmen is a real lady and an absolute beauty. Her eyes are a clear shade of green. Carmen is litter box trained and very neat and tidy. She is spayed, microchipped and up to date on her vaccines. All kittens are treated with Revolution anti flea/tick medication and de-wormed.

Also included is Carmen’s folder containing all of her records, valuable kitten information, a great PETCO coupon book, and a fun goodie bag with toys, etc.

If you are interested in adopting Carmen, you can meet her at our adoption event this Sunday, Nov. 7th at PETCO Newport Beach (see info below). If you would like more information about her please email

Why Adoption is a Great Option

CARMEN, a Newport Beach Himalayan kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Himalayan for sale in Newport Beach, or seeking a Himalayan kitten from a breeder in Newport Beach.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Newport Beach already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Newport Beach breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Himalayan breeders who help with Himalayan rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Newport Beach paves the way for another one to be saved.
