Pair of Military Macaws

Millie and Terry are a female and male bonded pair of Military Macaws. They are
15 years old and have had no previous training. They are sweet and with some training should come around, they are already starting to groom my hair from inside of the cage bars, but are still quite scared of hands, but we are working on that and progress has been positive and swift however, they are not for the a beginner large bird owner. They will require someone with experience as they are going to need a lot of patience and time before they come around to being handleable, but, they are both beautiful, healthy and fully feathered birds that will live a very long time to come! They are on a pellet diet with some seed, fresh fruits and veggies and they get a hot meal everyday cooked by yours truly! If you are looking for a rewarding challenge, then this pair of birds is for you! Please note that NO birds in the care of this rescue will EVER be used for breeding purposes, regardless of their background or nature!
