My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

"PRINCESS"
Blue Female Indian Ringneck
Fostered by Loretta L. of Seminole, FL

Princess is an absolutely beautiful female blue Indian Ringneck. She is a younger bird, but her exact age is unknown. Princess came into the rescue completely antisocial and will need a lot of one on one time before she comes around. She does not seem to mind people, but tends to be very shy around them. She seems to have a very timid manner about her and will become some ones best friend when she finds that right person to care for her. She likes to visit with other birds and is not aggressive. Currently, Princess is on a pellet diet and is enjoying fresh fruits and vegetables. The Ringneck is highly intelligent, they can be taught to speak, whistle, perform tricks (untying knots, stringing beads), and mimic other sounds. Although they are classified as parakeets, they are actually medium sized birds at about 14-16 inches long with tons of personality and attitude! They can live to be 30 years old or more.
