Angel's Story...
Angel is a good name for this sweet female pit mix. She has beautiful Dalmatian spots all over her and looks like she has makeup on her eyes. Angel came from a high kill shelter where a rescue group got her out in the nick of time. She is a year old, has been spayed, has all shots, is microchipped, heartworm negative and ready to find her forever home. Angel loves hanging around with humans and an active home would be good as she would make a great hiking or running buddy. She likes to learn and can sit and is working on other commands. She's not a big barker but will let you know when someone is at the door. Angel weighs in just over 50 lbs and is sleek and has soft fur. She likes other dogs but a home where she is the only dog would be best as she loves getting all the attention herself. She can be a bit of a princess but it's a good thing. Angel warms up quickly and if you meet her, she will quickly warm your heart.

To set up a meeting with beautiful Angel or for information from her foster home, email digwerks@aol.com. Her adoption information can be found at www.rocketdogrescue.org.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Angel, a Sacramento American Staffordshire Terrier/American Bulldog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a American Staffordshire Terrier/American Bulldog for sale in Sacramento, or seeking a American Staffordshire Terrier/American Bulldog dog from a breeder in Sacramento.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Sacramento already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Sacramento breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even American Staffordshire Terrier/American Bulldog breeders who help with American Staffordshire Terrier/American Bulldog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Sacramento paves the way for another one to be saved.
