Tawny's Story...
Tawny is a beautiful kitten that has the herpes virus - this just means she'll need to be on a regimen of L-Lysine and Vitamin C for the rest of her life to keep the virus at bay. When she does have an outbreak, it's similar to an upper respiratory infection - watery eyes and sneezing. It probably would be best for her to go to a home with other cats with the herpes virus. She's been tested, vaccinated, and spayed. She's a real beauty!

Adopter must be willing to sign contract that this kitten will NOT BE DECLAWED. Declawing is amputation of a cats healthy knuckle bone, claws, tendons, and nerves and is completely unnecessary. This kitten will only be placed with a family that accepts that claws and scratching are healthy and normal. For more information about the risks and consequences of declawing, please read: http://www.pawproject.com/html/faqs.asp

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tawny, a cincinnati Himalayan kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Himalayan for sale in cincinnati, or seeking a Himalayan kitten from a breeder in cincinnati.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in cincinnati already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a cincinnati breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Himalayan breeders who help with Himalayan rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in cincinnati paves the way for another one to be saved.
