seneca's Story...
Lorenzo and Seneca were confiscated from an unkind home. The human was forbidden by the Court to have any animals for ten years -- then his dogs were sentenced to die. We couldn't make sense of that!

This brother and sister had only each other during their ordeal, so they are naturally devoted to each other. They play cheerfully together all day, love their walks with other dogs and -- go figure -- they think people are wonderful and worthy of their sweet love. These endearing young dogs are so eager to bond with their own human(s). They are absolutely no trouble at all, and we want to help them find a kind gentle new home together. They are small -- under 50 pounds. Lots of exercise, please!

Spayed, vaccinated, house trained. Adoption Fee $125.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

seneca, a Santa Fe German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Santa Fe, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Santa Fe.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Santa Fe already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Santa Fe breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Santa Fe paves the way for another one to be saved.
