Joshua's Story...
Joshua 4306 27 lbs
Since I am young, I am full of life and my foster family says I am a “happy go lucky” guy. The company of people is great (including older children) and I also have a fine time playing with other dogs, young and old. My manners are fine but I will need a bit of training since I am a kid and you want me to be the perfect fellow. I currently weigh 27 lbs and am right at 11 months old.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Joshua, a Houston Schnauzer (Standard)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Schnauzer (Standard)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) for sale in Houston, or seeking a Schnauzer (Standard)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) dog from a breeder in Houston.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Houston already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Houston breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Schnauzer (Standard)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) breeders who help with Schnauzer (Standard)/Terrier (Unknown Type, Medium) rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Houston paves the way for another one to be saved.
