Kitten TREY's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, good with dogs, and good with cats.

Kitten TREY's Story...

TREY is a singleton kitten meaning he is not with a litter. He is being fostered by an Underdog but is actually is an OAR Kitten. Ohio Alleycat Resource is a group whose main mission is to help cats. They have taken TREY off the street & will have him completely ready for adoption at the end of November 2010. He'll be fully vetted including neutered, all relevant vaccines, & microchipping. He's already been tested for FIV & feline leukemia & he's negative (ie. healthy.)

Trey lives in a foster home with adult cats & adult dogs. This means he gets all the kitten toys to himself & boy is he glad. He LOVES to play with everything. He runs from the toy mouse, to the toy-mouse-in-the-round-dish, to the jungle gym, to the 'Tunnel of Crinkle', to the wadded up piece of paper, up the cat tree, back to the toy mouse...and then, drops down somewhere for a nap. He is truly the sweetest, cuddliest kitten that his foster family has ever fostered.

If you are interested in TREY, you will need to fill out an OAR adoption application. Email his foster mom & she'll send you an online link to that application.

Trey's adoption fee is $85 which covers a fraction of his kitten vetting. He was born around Sept 27th, 2010.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kitten TREY, a Cincinnati Domestic Shorthair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Shorthair for sale in Cincinnati, or seeking a Domestic Shorthair kitten from a breeder in Cincinnati.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Cincinnati already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Cincinnati breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Shorthair breeders who help with Domestic Shorthair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Cincinnati paves the way for another one to be saved.
