German Shepherd's Story...

This pretty girl is in a shelter and in need of either a foster or permanent home.  If you can sponsor her pull fee or make a donation to help with vaccinations, spay, etc please email us.  She was a stray and has not been reclaimed so far.  We have a rescue hold on her to keep her from being put to sleep.  If you are interested in adopting or fostering her, please fill out an application at

If you can sponsor her, it would be a wonderful blessing!  Without help, we can not continue to rescue dogs from high kill shelters and find them loving, permanent homes.  Any donation helps!

We are in need of foster homes for some of our rescued babies so we can help others that are waiting to come into rescue.  These tough economic times are putting pets into situations where they either need to come into rescues such as ours or they end up in shelters or worse.

Short term and long term fosters are needed for dogs and puppies of various sizes and breeds.  If you are interested in fostering, please fill out the adoption application at  and please make a note that you are wanting to foster.

If you'd like to mail a donation, please email us for the address or email address for paypal donations.  Donations are desperately needed as the adoption fees generally don't come close to covering the care these dogs have received.

Thank you and God bless!

Why Adoption is a Great Option

German Shepherd, a Mountain Home German Shepherd Dog dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a German Shepherd Dog for sale in Mountain Home, or seeking a German Shepherd Dog dog from a breeder in Mountain Home.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Mountain Home already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Mountain Home breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even German Shepherd Dog breeders who help with German Shepherd Dog rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Mountain Home paves the way for another one to be saved.
