My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi my name is Abner, I am a sweet loving big boy. I love to be petted and hugged. I will do headbuts with you too. I like to stand in your lap while you stroke my back, puuuurr I love that.
I should would love for you to come a meet me, I just know you will fall in love with me.

You can call the shelter for an appointment to meet me, or come to PetSmart in Conyers or Bethlehem for a meet and greet.

None of us are exactly at our very best at PetSmart, but that's just because we're used to having lots of love and fun at our shelter home and going to PetSmart with all the loud noises and bright lights is a little scary. Still, you can see how handsome I am and that I'd be really great as your new forever best friend.

At Altered Feral State, we work with feral cat colonies. All of our kittens were removed from the colonies and completely socialized when they are less than 8 weeks old. We don't offer them for adoption until they have been tested, vaccinated and spayed or neutered.

Our adoption fee of $75 only covers a very small portion of our costs, but to us, it's all about finding the best home for these wonderful kitties.
