Isiah is a German Shepherd/Doberman Pinscher Mix. He is Black and Tan. Isiah is 1 Year Old. He is neutered and up to date on his shots. He weighs around 78 lbs.
Isiah is a gorgeous gentle young boy! This gorgeous boy was first adopted from the pound and then returned saying that they think he would much rather be an outside dog. We're not sure why they would think that because Isiah came to us completely housetrained, non destructive and a very people pleasing friendly dog. He already knows how to "Sit" and enjoys doing this commands because it's followed up with a treat in his mouth! Isiah loves to run and play with you. He bows down and waits for your feet to move and then loves it when you run and he has to chase you and vise versa. He loves playing with the other dogs and is always submissive which would make him an excellent addition to a family that already has a dog. Isiah also loves to hang out in the living room with his foster family and their two dogs. He will come up on the couch when invited but much rather lay on the comfy dog bed with one of his doggie pals. Isiah is a friendly young boy who just wants a forever family of his very own!
Isiah would do well in any household. He loves all the adults, children and other dogs he's met. We would love for him to go to a home with a large fenced in yard and maybe another doggie pal to hang out with. Isiah is very good on the leash but he wants to run so he has been able to slip out of a collar, harness and slip lead, but a simple choker chain works fine and once he realizes he has to stay where you want him he just relaxes and goes potty and walks around the yard. Isiah loves going on car rides and usually hangs out on the back seat and takes a nap. He is completely crate trained and housetrained. He doesn't mind the crate once he gets accustomed to it but since he's a good boy enough being left alone he doesn't need to be in one. Isiah is still a young boy who just wants someone to play with and love.
Isiah is not aggressive with other dogs, he has been with small, large, young and old dogs.
At the rescue we require dogs to be kept indoors.
There is a $100 Adoption Fee for all dogs. Which includes the Spay/Neuter, Parvo/Distemper Combo Shot, Rabies Shot, Worming, Heartworm Tested Negative if over 6 months and Flea/Tick Prevention.
