Hello Everyone! My name is Janie! I’m such a happy little lady! They tell me that I am a Lhasa Apso, but I don’t really know what that means. I spent a few years outside before my owner brought me to a shelter because she couldn’t spend as much time with me as she thought I deserved. I’m actually pretty happy that she surrendered me because the weather can really bother a pretty girl like me. Now I am in a foster home and my foster parents can’t believe that I spent a few years as an “outside dog” because I already know that I am supposed to do my
business out in the yard instead of in the house. That’s because I know that I need to be a good little lady so that I can find my forever home really soon. I get along with the other dogs in the house, too! Sometimes I get a little rowdy and growl and chase my tail all around the place.

This avoids the disappointment of someone else has "beating you to it" because they were pre-approved. Processing an application does not take us very long but we do insist that all potential adopters are approved before placing a dog. Applying is very simple. Just log on to our website at

Just above the photo gallery you will see Adoption Application giving you a choice of 2 formats. Select one of these and complete the information requested, then save it as a file and e mail it to us.
